Background
The National Youth Day in Zimbabwe is an opportunity to recognize the young generation who are making a difference in the country’s development and diversity. To celebrate their achievements and aspirations, I created a short social media motion graphics video for Nedbank Zimbabwe, a bank that cares and connects with the youth of Zimbabwe.

Style
The video has a vibrant and varied visual style that reflects the influences of VH1 and MTV, as well as the classic hip-hop music that defined an era of creativity and innovation in music. I picked a soundtrack that fuses different sounds and genres into one “dope” track, and I complemented that with a blend of striking graphics, animations, and transitions that create a positive and energetic vibe. The video intends to attract and motivate the viewers, and to deliver a message of hope, empowerment, positivity and resilience.
