Background
The Zimbabwe Agricultural Society (ZAS) was established in 1895 to promote and facilitate agriculture and its related activities in Zimbabwe. Since 1910, it has been hosting the annual Harare Agricultural Show, a showcase of agricultural development in northern Zimbabwe. After over 100 years of successful shows, the ZAS decided to rebrand the show as the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show, aiming to attract a global audience.

The Brief
To design a logo for the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show that reflects its timeless appeal and its role in connecting the agricultural and business sectors.

The Design
I designed this logo as a fusion of four icons: a cow, a gear, and some maize cobs. They symbolize the diverse and dynamic aspects of the agricultural sector, which encompasses both crops and livestock, and the value-added industries that transform them.
The colours were borrowed directly from the ZAS mother brand for consistency, with slight variations on the shades of green and yellow.
